This page is all about education and teaching the basics of computers, and there is some computer repair videos here as well, but mostly to help you understand more about how computers and networks function. Most speed issues can be fixed just by following the, "msconfig" video alone. This is all brought to you by Akamai Mobile Computer Repair, your reasonable reliable Local Oahu Computer Service.
MICROSOFT WINDOWS FACTS
It's always best to shutdown your computer if your not using it for a couple reasons. One is the heat factor that's why they put fans on it to help keep it cool, what will end up happening is dust from the air will clog the heat zink then it won't be able to dissipate the heat properly or the fan can go bad then it will melt and do permanent damage. Another reason you want to shutdown your computer because the longer it runs from that boot the slower it will run and respond compared to if you did a fresh restart. Also even if you cleaned all the temp files and had everything tuned up defraged everything done right after about a year or so your operating system will start to run slower than a fresh copy of windows would run. I usually reload mine about once a year or sooner if a critical file gets corrupted.
